Dawn to Dusk at Gadisagar Lake, Jaisalmer

I’ll tell you how the sun rose,
A ribbon at a time.
The steeples swam in amethyst,
The news like squirrels ran.
The hills untied their bonnets,
The bobolinks begun.
Then I said softly to myself,
“That must have been the sun!”

Let me tell you, ask any local in Jaisalmer and he would say the best place to see the sunrise or sunset is at the Sam dunes but if you are in the city, do not forget to visit the Gadisar / Gadisagar / Gadsisar – they all are different names of the same place but stay over for dawn or dusk and you would realise it also has different colours to it. Read more about Gadisar here – Gadisar – Where water and land conspires with the sky

Lets start from the dawn

    1. Yes, Nikon. Was lucky I guess with the clouds. Also this was with my LEE filters (which with a heavy heart had put on sale, will miss them)
